Description: Students who enter the program at Stage 1 will have access to Stages 1,2 and 3. Stage 1 is designed for beginner students who are just starting the process of preparing for Exam P or for students who wish to re-learn the fundamentals and start the exam preparation process from its initial point. At Stage 1, students will be taught the required elementary P/1 topics and its core concepts as it relates to preparing for Exam P. Instructor Aaron Goldsmith will lead students through these basic but very important topics at a gradual pace to make certain that students are building a solid foundational base. During Stage 1, we will start the rigorous but most critical process to begin mastering P/1 problem solving, with students being shown great strategies and techniques for solving exam problems related to the fundamental topics being taught and reviewed. Students can expect a great deal of personal support from Instructor Goldsmith throughout the critical Stage 1 period to ensure that they are fully grasping the material being presented and progressing at the pace necessary to be ready for Stage 2.
Stage 2 – Appropriate for exam takers to enter who have some understanding of Exam P material but desire a review of the more challenging topics along with related problem solving.

Description: Stage 3 is an intensive problem solving/exam strategy bootcamp and an absolute must for any student sitting for Exam P. This program stage offers the ultimate final exam preparation resource for students who have mastered the core and advanced syllabus material and are now ready for a 4 week ‘pedal to the metal’ bootcamp to maximize problem solving skills prior to the exam sitting. Stage 3 includes intensive practice sessions with instructional support & feedback, live through Zoom. Using exam problems from GOAL and previously released SOA exams as the basis for the bootcamp, Stage 3 will provide students with learning invaluable strategies, methods, and shortcuts for attacking and solving problems the best ways, significantly advancing problem solving skills, reaching a masters level of problem solving proficiency necessary to pass Exam P.

About the Instructor:
Dr. Aaron Goldsmith specializes in preparing students for Exam P. His teaching experience includes leading probability/statistics courses at University of Wisconsin at Madison. Dr. Goldsmith earned his PhD in mathematics at Texas A&M in 2015 and his BS in mathematics from University of Missouri Rolla in 2007. He possesses a great passion for helping his students succeed.
